Missing doses happen. What you should do next depends on how long the delay has been and what medication you are taking.
If you missed a dose of Lerochol
If you forget to use Lerochol or are not able to take the dose on your regular schedule, inject your missed dose as soon as you remember if it has been less than 7 days of the missed dose and continue the original monthly dosage schedule.
For example: If your dose was due on the 1st and you remember on the 5th, take it on the 5th. Your next dose would still be due on your original schedule.
If it is 7 or more days from the missed dose, inject the dose and start a new monthly schedule using the date Lerochol was taken.
For example: If your dose was due on the 1st and you remember on the 10th, take it on the 10th. Your new medication schedule will start on the 10th.
Note: If you are not sure when to re-start Lerochol, ask your clinician or pharmacist.
If you missed a dose of Repatha
If it has been 7 days or less since your missed dose, take Repatha as soon as you can. Then continue with your original dosing schedule.
For example: If your dose was due on the 1st and you remember on the 5th, take it on the 5th. Your next dose would still be due on your original schedule.
If it has been more than 7 days since your missed dose, what you should do depends on your dosing schedule:
If you take Repatha every 2 weeks, wait until your next dose on your original schedule.
For example: If your dose was due on the 1st and it is now the 10th, wait and take your next dose on the date it was already scheduled.
If you take Repatha once a month, take your dose as soon as you can. This date will become the start of your new dosing schedule.
For example: If your dose was due on the 1st and you remember on the 10th, take it on the 10th. Your new medication schedule will start on the 10th.
