For your cholesterol refill check-in, you’ll be asked to provide information that helps the clinician understand how your treatment is going.
This may include:
Your current cholesterol medication or medications
How long you have been taking your current medication or dose
Whether you have missed any doses
Whether you have had any side effects since your last dose, such as injection-site reactions, flu-like symptoms, or allergic reactions
Whether you have started any new medications
Whether you have had any new diagnoses or changes in your medical history
Whether your pregnancy status has changed, if relevant
Whether you want to continue treatment or discuss a change
You may also need to provide labs. You’ll need to complete a full lab panel at your first refill, and then every 6 months after that. This includes a lipid panel, CMP, CBC, and A1c.
It’s important to complete your refill check-in when it is requested. If you do not complete it on time, it may interrupt your treatment and affect your ability to get your next prescription.
